Hidden Emotions erupt deep within,
let the writing begin.
Tears fall on paper, they blur the ink,
as my mind rethinks.
Death and lost love has taken its toll,
words from a tortured soul.
Ache in my heart for those I love dear,
a poem for each tiny tear.
Wrapped in a bubble I wish I could stay,
to keep all sorrow at bay.
Penning my feelings, I let go my muse,
to give up I still refuse.
An ounce of hope and faith still reside,
with my muse side by side.
Keeps me from going completely insane,
little by little release my pain.
A touch of humor on a good day or two,
silly muse helps me through.
Buried deep, my muse shall always long,
to write a new love song.
