With covers drawn atop my head,
night brings near, things I dread.
Moon the only luminary,
mind full of thoughts contrary.
The battlefront is edge of night,
demons roam, they come to fight.
Throughout the dark I must fend,
off attacks till shadows ends.
The warmth of sun will soon break,
with it these demons it will take.
To freely breath and face the day,
for now my fears have gone away.
Relish in the sun now rising,
morning welcomed, feels reprising.
Yes, full of hope I rise and shine,
leave behind those fears of mine.
Within blue sky, sphere so yellow,
peace is found with mood, mellow.
As surely as ocean ebbs, flows,
a new morning comes, then goes.
