My angel visits on butterfly wings,
watches over me when ever I cry.
He glides on the summer breeze,
touches my cheek then flies high.
My sweet son who passed away,
my angel for the past two years.
Helps me bear all the pain I face,
comes to wash away salty tears.
Upon his wings there lies hope,
with strength to face another day.
When the day brings me sadness.
my angel tells me I will be okay.
Dries my tears, gives me strength,
when tears blind, he lets me see.
Once was my angel here on earth,
now in heaven watches over me.
