Following are the updates on the release of the movie as I spoke to the distributor & exhibitor of the movie in UK:
- Film premiere show will be held in Bradford on Feb 27th. Syed Noor & Saima are expected to be there on this occassion. Trying to get hold of Shan but not so sure.
- Film is scheduled to be released on 5th March across London. East London cinemas are final, whereas rest of the cinemas will be finalised by Tuesday 4th Feb.

As previously said, the date of 27th Feb and Venue was decided for the premiere purpose and the regular shows will kick off right after the premiere.
Whereas London date is still in March. Evidence is below:

despite it is one of the wonderful event for lollywood cine goers but unfortunately one has to admitt it is very low profile release with almost zero publicity .
the distributor seems financially very poor or doesn't have confidence to release PUNJABI film in UK market. When I asked this question to him, he replied that he will expand the release periodically depending on the business of the movie.

Very dissapointed with the pathetic release of Zill-e- Shah. The film is not even getting shown in Manchester then about the so called premiere. All in all very frustrating.

Hi guys!
I ve seen the movie on last friday in Cineworld Ilford. I will post the Movie Review,Cinema Pictures shortly under new topic. Keep on visiting for these latest updates.
Being precise, I must say the movie is really good attempt for the revival of Lollywood and all credit goes to SHANN for his beautiful effort. I am planning to go again to watch it.

Sorry to report this but the film has not even made it to the 2nd week. A total Disaster. It has been taken of all the Cinemas. To me its not a surprise. I wish the film was never released here. On the other hand an Indian Punjabi film is going great guns and its going to enter its 4th week and has done business over £100,000.

I agree with you also Wajahat. Its so frustrating that a good quality Pakistani film has been released here and it totally goes unnoticed because of no publicity. Why release the film in the first place ?

Exactly. They dont have a good marketing team. They should promote the movie not only thru the electronic media, they should rather promote in different community centres where Punjabis and Asian's have meet ups!
