*If only.....
If only we acted instead of sat
showed love to a neighbor or our little cat
If only we helped that shopkeeper by waiting
Without shouting "hurry" and having no patience
If only we gave money to some one poor
To feed them just something or help them keep warm
If only we gave time to that elderly man
Having empathy listening to reach out a hand
If only we smiled as food fed our hunger
as we lay in a clean bed ready for slumber
If only we gave love more than we take
Sharing so much for Allah's sake
If only as Muslims we do all these things
We will be given such peace and many good things
So do as we're asked don't stay in the dark
remember these words.....
