OTTAWA -- The Ottawa Senators have signed defenceman Mark Borowiecki to a US$3.

scored one goal and added 48 penalty minutes in 13 games with Ottawa this
season. The Ottawa native also recorded two goals and six assists along with a
career-high 158 penalty minutes and a plus-14 rating in 50 games with the
American Hockey Leagues Binghamton Senators. The Senators fifth-round pick
(139th overall) in the 2008 NHL draft, Borowiecki has one goal and 68 penalty
minutes in 21 career NHL games.
