Coming off an off-season in which his team made significant changes both on and off the ice, Dave Nonis admitted he cant wait to get the season started in order
to see the results of the organizations makeover.

to the Leafs front office. “We kind of think the same way in how the team should
be put together,” Nonis said of Shanahan. “We agreed for the most part in the
direction the team was going,” What impressed Nonis about Dubas was that the
28-year-old was the first person to show the GM “how analytics could be

said, while again dismissing the notion that the team had previously ignored the
