’KAL HO NA HO’ FETCHES $ ONE MILLION

According to reports reaching India, Shah Rukh Khan's latest film 'Kal Ho Na Ho' has fetched a hefty sum of a million dollars in its US opening. When asked to comment on religion and communal divide in India, whose film industry is the biggest in the world making more than 800 films annually, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh said, ''I am 100 per cent an Indian first and my religion is Islam... I would give my life for the country".

In an interview to the media, Khan said that there was no category like an Indian Hindu or an Indian Muslim. However, he believes that there is a category like an Indian and English or American.Only a few western interests liked to exploit this silly logic of being a Muslim first or an Indian first . Though he had great faith in Islam and the people who propagated it, he had very less faith in people who thought Islam was only aggressive and violent.

Regarding his status in the tinsel world, Khan said "I feel chosen, I feel blessed and I feel very guilty that I'm not doing enough good work to thank the people who have liked me and made me achieve what I have." The actor-producer who has been in the film industry for over a decade and enthralled audiences with memorable films like 'Devdas', 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', 'Dil To Pagal Hai', 'Darr and 'Baazigar', to name a few. The actor was in Singapore recently attending his concert.


EVEN I DO THINK ITS STUPID TO SAY WE ARE MUSLIM FIRST THEN PAKISTANI...THATS WHY THERE IS NO UNITY IN PAKISTAN..TO ME I AM A PAKISTANI FIRST THEN A MUSLIM...A PAKISTANI HINDU IS MORE DEAR TO ME THEN AN INDIAN MUSLIM...AS THE PAKISTANI MINORITIES ARE PATRIOTIC LIKE PAKISTANI MUSLIM AS WELL..AND THEY ARE THE ONLY GROUP WHO ALWAYS CONDEMNED INDIA'S ANTI PAKISTANI COMMENTS AND ATTIITUDE....SO I DONT UNDERSTAND (AND IT HURTS ME A LOTS)THAT WE ALWAYS IGNORED THEM..AND ARE ONLY FOCUSSED WHATS HAPPENING WID THE INDIAN MUSLIMS IN GUJRAT....WHILE INDIAN MUSLIMS WERE NEVER THERE TO SHOW THEIR SUPPORT WID PAKISTANI PEOPLES WHEN INDIA ATTACKED US THREE TIMES..AND ITS ALSO THE WISHES OF OUR FATHER OF NATION, JINNAH SAAB TO CREATE UNITY AMONG PAKISTANI MUSLIMS AND MINORITIES..SO IF ANY INDIAN MUSLIM TALKS CRAPS ABOUT PAKISTANI HINDU OR IS TRYING TO HARM HIM..I WILL PROTECT HIM EVEN IF I HAVE TO GIVE UP MY LIFE......

AND I DONT CARE WHAT OTHER PEOPLES ARE GONNA SAY ABOUT MY WAY OF THINKING...
