Saturday's London attack occurred in two closely contained areas, the London Bridge and Borough Market, when a white van randomly plowed into pedestrians, and continued when three attackers wielding long-blade knives carried out multiple stabbings. The attackers were shot dead by police minutes after the stabbings began.
