Atiqa opens Cuts and Cappuccino
Atiqa's love for cosmetics has led her to the manufacturing of beauty products. She launched her line of cosmetic beauty products. Her flagship product for cosmetic line is a lipstick but she shall be introducing new products and her next products would be eye-liner and mascara, says Atiqa Odho at the launching ceremony of her line of beauty cosmetic products held in Karachi recently.
Talking about her entrance in the beauty industry, she says that she started her professional life as a makeup artist and got training from different schools in England and then came back and freelanced as a makeup artist for many years with the known people in the beauty industry. After some years she set up "Cuts and Cappuccino" a beauty salon in Pakistan.
We don't have quality products in our markets that is why Pakistani women don't know what they are putting on their face, but consumer awareness about beauty is necessary. "I have done a lot of research before manufacturing of products and started working on this project four years ago. It is challenge that I and my husband have taken. Hopefully people will appreciate it and I think it is a good package" she said.
Celebrities like Marina Khan and Nabeel, film star Javed Sheikh, fashion designer Fariha Altaf, stylist Tariq Amin, fashion photographer Arshad Tareen and others were also present .
