Pakistan have confirmed that they will host Zimbabwe for a two-Test series in October this year. The sides will also play five one-day internationals.
"We have got a confirmation from Zimbabwe," Rameez Raja, the chief executive of the Pakistan Cricket Board, told reporters. "Now we have to sit down and work out the itinerary." The tour will take place between October 1 and November 4.
It is the only remaining home series scheduled in Pakistan in 2004, but Raja said that he hoped to convince his Indian counterparts to play a six-match one-day series, split between the two countries, in November. He added: "We're also looking at the possibility of India inviting us to take part in a triangular one-day tournament in India
