Off lately, every other day we hear the relation between India and Pakistan is improving and the credit goes either to Bollywood or cricket. This time around both these aspects are responsible for promoting peace between the two countries.
A friendly charity cricket match was organized by Sunil Shetty's production house Popcorn Entertainment in association with Wizcraft International Entertainment, (who also are the organizers of the upcoming IIFA awards) on Thursday at the Sharjah cricket stadium in Dubai.
Sunil Shetty was the captain of Indian cricket team while Pakistani rock star Salman Ahmed was the captain of Pakistan. Others in the Indian team included actor Sohail Khan and popular singer Sonu Nigam. Pakistan's ex-prime minister Benazir Bhutto made an appearance at the stadium. The match received a fabulous response from the UAE audience.
Proceeds for the match will go towards Imran Khan's cancer hospital in Pakistan and the IIFA trust in India.
