Hadiqa is a young and promising singer. Her singing career started when she was a little girl. Initially trained by Mr. Sohail Rana, her first television appearance was in a children`s program called "Rang Barangi Duniya". Later she learnt eastern classical music by Ustad Faiz Ahmed Khan.
Hadiqa shot to fame after recording songs for "Sargam", Pakistan's first musical film. Today, she has to her credit numerous popular numbers and is equally famous both at home and abroad. She can rightly be called the choice of the young generation. Her latest album Raaz is a great hit amongst the youngsters.
Winner of innumerable prestigious awards, Hadiqa's list of achievements in the music arena are many. Allow me to give one instance. She was the only Pakistani artist who performed at the Hong Kong celebration with singers like "All for One", Michael Learns to Rock", "Wet Wet Wet", "The brand new Heavies" "Leesa Stansfield", Bally Sagoo and many more. Hadiqa Kiani has been performing under the banner of Ritz Theatre since 1996.
