Straightforward, daring and sensational, model and actress Reja's star is surely on the rise.
She is featuring in a number of television projects. It's difficult to compare her with any other woman in the field, as she's a distinct cut above the rest. Reja started out her career as a 'model'. She has acted in hit plays like 'Landa Bazar', 'Seeli Barish' and 'Mehndi'. She has also completed shooting of play 'Yeh Dil Hi to Hai'.
She has offers to work in films as well. She however has not signed any film. She is very selective and choosy about her work. While talking to this scribe Reja spoke about her recent plays and the response of the people to her work. She is acting in 'Woh Bees Din', a serial for local TV channel, which is being directed by Anjum Shehzad and includes also includes in the cast Iman Ali, Qavi Khan, Fariha Jabeen and Saba Perviaz.
"The script written by Aqeel Ruby is very good. I am enjoying my work with Anjum's team. They are all very supportive".
Besides that she has also signed two serials of Muhammad Nafees. One is titled 'Baho Ranian' and the other is 'Lamhon Ke Rishtey'. Both serials are in pipeline and Reja is very excited about acting in them. "In 'Baho Ranian' I am playing the lead role. Reja is also working in Farooq Mengal's upcoming plays 'Anarkali' and 'Alaap'.
The shooting of 'Anarkali' has been postponed as Meera is busy in shooting of a film in India. 'Alaap''s script is still secret. "Both the plays are good. Perhaps the best of my career. Anarkali is an outstanding play. The sets looked so real that one enjoyed working there. I have worked hard and used my acting skills to the fullest," she said.
