Pakistani superstar Shaan and Ajay Devgan will come together for a film to be directed by Satish Kaushik. Ashok Khemka is the producer of the film which will made with a budget of 15-20 crore rupees. The script of the film is penned by journalists Moin Beg. Informs Khemka, "It is a real life story of Beg who has a friend in Pakistan." The film is set in those times when there were tensions in the Indo-Pak relations. But the lead characters are two close friends who continued to share a strong bond and communicated through letters. "The film is not as much about two nations as it is about two friends," Ashok says. He adds, "When Ajay heard the script he flipped for it completely," he says. "Satish Kaushik did discuss a film but I haven't read the script yet," Pakistani actor Shaan informed who described Ajay as a mature actor.
