Following the overwhelming response towards its films in India and the overseas markets [U.K., U.S.A.], Dharma Productions has gone international in a big way. Karan Johar's magnum opus K3G is the first commercial Indian film to release in mainstream cinema halls across Europe, Egypt and Iran. K3G will also find a place in Korean theatres soon.
K3G, titled LA FAMILLE INDIENNE, was released all across France on May 26. In addition, the film has also been released across theatres in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Finland, Yugoslavia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Belgium, Luxembourg, Egypt and Iran.
The tremendous response to K3G in mainstream cinemas abroad has encouraged Dharma Productions to also sign deals to release their latest blockbuster KAL HO NAA HO across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg and Belgium, whereas KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI will see an overseas television release on German TV shortly.
