well they mean that, the awards are of 2003, cos they give the awards after the year finishes, so they cant give 2004 untill next year, untill the year comes to an end.

If you go throw the list of programmes coming on sony it says . . Lux Style Awards 2004 . . i also went to check whats it's about and it said performance's from lollywood and also bollywood. So its got to be the one in Duabi. and the show it only 3 hours which i kindda short i was hopeinh the show the red carpet walk and all that but i dont think they are. Hope they dont cut a lot out.

You know Prime; something is really weird about them. Why don't they want to be apart of the Urdu Package Dish offers; it's odd.
Why the heck is ARY ONE on SuperDish; I couldn't understand but now I know why. That's because more channels are comming; they'll be putting those ones on SuperDish which will force the people to buy those too!

Sony Asia nabs rights to Pakistani Lux Style Awards
Sony Entertainment Television Asia (SET Asia) will be celebrating the best of Pakistani fashion, music, films, stars and entertainment across the globe with a broadcast of the Lux Style Awards 2004. The event was recently held in Dubai.
Executive VP of International Business, Rajan Singh, said: "Sony Entertainment Television Asia is helping to give Pakistani stars a greater platform around the world. At present there is a lack of global exposure of both Pakistani artistes and talent and this is a gap that needs to be filled."
"I’m very pleased that we have managed to secure the rights to this glamorous award ceremony which I’m sure will be of great interest to millions of our viewers around the world."
The third Lux Style Awards 2004 took place on 27th May 2004 in Dubai at the International Convention Centre and witnessed Pakistani glamour and style all under one roof. The awards tracked, showcased and celebrated the work of both veteran and upcoming stars from the field of film, TV, music and fashion.
In addition to the awards ceremony performances by stars from Pakistan and India were also held to an audience of of over 4,500 people.
Among the celebrities present were Ali Zafar, Aaminah Haq, Zara Sheik, Resham, Faakhir, pop group Strings, Sonu Nigam and Priyanka Chopra.
The Awards ceremony will be broadcast on Sunday 11th July at 8pm.

Good can't wait. Well its great that its been shown on Sony because majority of the people in Pakistan who are crazy of Indian channels will also watch it because had it been shown on a Pakistani channel they would have never seen it. Hope for once they should realize that we are as talented as others.

I wish it was a joke but if you don't believe me just go to Pakistan and you will find out. Nearly every house has cable and they are all watching the Indian crap.
Thank god the story is different with the overseas Pakistanis who all have got the Pakistani channels and are proud of being Pakistani.
