TV reality show to Capitalise on India-Pakistan Rivalry
The historic rivalry between India and Pakistan will shift to cable television in a reality show pitting teams from the two countries against each other.
An action channel, AXN, said it will launch a search in August for four-member teams from each South Asian nation.
They will do battle in an undisclosed East Asian country and the show, called AXN Xtreme, will be broadcast across Asia towards the end of the year.
The action network, AXN, expected interest in the show to be "ma**ive".
India and Pakistan split during the partition of British-ruled India in 1947 and have fought three full-fledged wars but the competition also extends to peaceful areas.
