The 2017 fourth-round draft pick continued to produce with his first
multi-point performance of the tournament. The forward accounted for two
assists in a 3-2 victory over Slovakia to help push Sweden to the
semifinals.
D Jakub Galvas, Czech Republic
Galvas picked up Duncan Keith Youth Jersey his second assist of the tournament in a 4-3 victory over Finland to
put Czech Republic in the semifinals. The 2017 fifth-round draft pick
now has two points through five games.
D Henri Jokiharju, Finland
The Finnish Jonathan Toews Youth Jersey defenseman accounted for six shots on goal in a 4-3 loss to Czech
Republic. The Blackhawks 2017 first-round pick finished the WJC with
four points (2G, 2A) along with 19 attempts on net.
W Andrei Altybarmakyan, Russia
The Russian wing tallied his first goal of the WJC against USA on
Tuesday while sharing the team lead with four shots on goal. The 2017
third-round pick Patrick Kane Youth Jersey tied the tilt up in the third period but Russia eventually fell 4-2. He
ended the tournament with three points (1G, 2A).
LW Artur Kayumov, Russia
The 2016 second-round pick was held scoreless in the loss to USA, but
finished the WJC with five points (3G, 2A) and was just behind the
tournament pace at +4.
Soderlund and Sweden will faceoff with USA on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. CT.
Galvas will look to continue his strong WJC debut in Czech Republic's
matchup with Canada at 7:00 p.m. Russia and Finland have been eliminated
from tournament play with their losses.
