Veteran actor and renowned Bollywood comedian Mehmood passed away on Friday morning in Pennsylvania. He was 72 and ailing with breathing problems for quite some time now.
Mehmood’s career graph saw him as an actor, producer, director and even a playback singer. Some of his most memorable performances include films like Bhoot Bungla, Gumnaan, Sabse Bada Rupaiya, Pyar Kiye Jaa, Bombay To Goa, Padosan, Shadu Aur Shaitaan and Kunwara Baap to name just a few from his vast filmography list of more than 130 films.
Mehmood is survived by his sons Manzoor Ali and well-known singer Lucky Ali.
