and in regards to these people who are against the movie...who gives a rats ass?? i could care less if the movie is against them. sikhs (atleast the ones who are complaining abt this movie) OF ALL PEOPLE should keep their mouths shut. after their all-star sunny deol makes a million movies against muslims and pakistan, they're going to bark about our movie????!!!!!!!! we should all ignore them. and besides....we don't stoop to their level. the movie does not deal with such a hot topic like they think. its simply a love story. the producers insist its NOT the answer/response to movies like GADDAR, so i'll agree with them, and wait till i see the movie to respond further!!
and bottom line...the movie is getting press/exposure,(good or bad) so its a good thing for lollywood in general!

i don't live in london so i don't know why! but i've heard one channel has shown advertisments for larki punjaban. and as the release date comes closer (whenever it is), they might begin to advertise it more....

just a thought, but maybe they only use their first names, cause most of them are thrown out of the family for joining the film industry?! they might not want any 'shame' to come upon their khandan, and therefore stick to first names only. thats just my guess...
another reason might be, cause even the first names they go by, are fake! example....meera's name is not really meera. saima's real name is not really saima. rambo's real name is afzal khan (i think)! so they're stage names. every filmstar changes their name! its a trend in the industry for some reason, and i happend to think its the one i mentioned above (for certain actors/actresses, not ALL).

i agree. they should advertise as much as possible. but the reason might be, because the movie has been delayed??? maybe in 1-2 weeks they'll start to advertise on normal tv!?
oh! and i saw the commercial for the uk show (peace concert)! according to that commercial, abrar, sajaad ali, haroon, rahim shah, nirma, noor, shehzad roy, shaida mini, and a bunch of others are coming! u guys r lucky!

i haven't even tried to look for the songs of the other movie, but again, u should try the website itself.
thats another problem, don't u think!? pakistan should release its movie's soundtracks earlier just like bollywood. and what better place than london to release them where many will buy them?!

sorry bro, i have no idea. the first song doesn't work, but the rest should....i even tried on kazaa but the songs are not available anywhere else.
and i thought i might share this with you! my dad (who is in pakistan on a business trip)was on his way from islamabad to lahore, and guess who was sitting right next to him on the plane....SHAAN!!! rambo and baber ali were also on the plane but my dad only spoke to shaan (i think he's the only one my dad knows. lol). anyhow.....i got his autgraph and from what my dad tells me, he wrote something along the lines of 'thank you for supporting the pakistani film industry...'! i thought that was cool of him....

that is simply crazy. if its a PAKISTANI mela, why bring an indian flag?? thats dumb. and you're right...its asking for trouble. that kind of stuff used to happend here but thank God, it has stopped. i could safely say indians and pakistani's live in peace here! we're all canadian! we're a peaceful country in general! lol. anyhow...they stick to their mela's and we have our own. our's are better tho, cause we get abrar to turn the place upsidedown!!! lol

my entire khandan is a bunch of noor jehan fans from the oldest to the youngest. lol. me personally...i admire her and respect what she has done and the path she has paved for current stars. same with ustaad nusrat fateh ali khan. these two were instrumental in putting pakistani music on the map.
as 4 the medhi hussan song u mentioned, correct me if i'm wrong but hasn't someone done a modern version which is playing these days on Prime TV??? the video has that new model/actor from the much awaited movie, salakhein.
