Agree with Taifi it is an old story which has been done numerous times brfore. Something like this might work in a Punjabi film but in an Urdu film no chance.
Syed Noor needs to come up with new and fresh ideas.

More Info on the film Jhoomer
The 'Shahji' of Lollywood Syed Noor is fast completing work on his next film, titled 'Jhoomar'. Quite like his recent blockbuster 'Majajan', this film is also a tragic love story.
Noor revealed that 'Jhoomar' was a love triangle, like 'Majajan', again. Hero Moammar Rana falls for heroine Saima while Alina plays second fiddle. Momi is shown to come from a 'wadera' family while Saima is the daughter of a poor village 'hakeem' (played by Irfan Khoosat).
As with all his films, the story of 'Jhoomar' is scripted by Noor himself while wifey Rukhsana Noor takes care of the lyrics department.
This scribe met with Lollywood's most prolific director at Shabab Studios where a huge set of a haveli had been constructed for 'Jhoomar'. Saima, Durdana Rehman, Alina, Najma Begum and some junior actors were also present on the set.
What is worth a mention is the very disciplined way in which the entire crew was working. It painted a completely unlike-Lollywood picture. Syed Noor was holding the fort, while his unit members were all order and organisation.
Talking about the sequence that he was shooting, Noor said that Momi had married Saima against the wishes of his family and had now brought her to his haveli for the very first time. Interestingly, their entry is timed with sister-in-law Durdana Rehman introducing the family members to her younger sibling (Alina) for a prospective match for Momi. Saima, obviously, has to face the wrath of the scheming women in the house who hate her very being.
As just as the shot was okayed, the cast members involved in the scene held their 'Saimaji' in a loving embrace.
Saima said that 'Shahji' was working very hard in order to prove that 'Majajan' was not a fluke.
"Inshallah, this film too will make history," she said. Momi was not needed for the sequence, hence he was not present on the set. It may be mentioned here that Noor has earlier worked with the heartthrob of the film industry on their recordbreaking 'Chooriyan'. 'Jhoomar' is, therefore, special in that it brings the team of the phenomenally successful Punjabi film of the late '90s.
Alina, whose character in 'Jhoomar' has shades of grey, also spoke to Metro about the film. She said that she was proud of the fact that she was working in Noor's camp, and hoped that the film would prove a milestone in her career.
It may be mentioned here that Alina has not had a scintillating track record. Despite being a trained dancer and a pretty face, this young lady has failed to make her place in Lollywood - thanks mainly to her films bombing at the box office. This, despite the fact that at least two of the three movies she has done so far were big-banner productions - Shamim Ara's 'Buddha Bigra Jaae' and Pervez Kaleem's 'Pehla Sajda'. Noor said that he had planned to release 'Jhoomar' on the auspicious occasion of Eidul Fitr this year.

Mahi Awey Ga initially did well after that I have no idea. Zakhmi Aurat is a flop. The film had been heavily censored and basically nothing is left to show.
Its good to see at last that the censor board has done something to stamp out valgarity. Just hope they carry on with it in the future.

I have heard her interviews in English and her English is not that bad. Some of the interviews were on live television when she came to the UK to promote KTSK in the UK.

One thing interesting regarding the release of KTSK on DVD in Pakistan is that starting from KTSK all Pakistani films which are going to released on DVD have to be re-censored.
This is amazing because all Pakistani films are already censored. So why does the government want Pakistani films to be re-censored and for this censor board is going to charge filmmakers 10,000 rupees.
I should ask the government what about all the pirated Indian and English movies with which our country is flooded with. Are these movies above the law.

I always have regarded Syed Noor as a talented director and until 1999 he did make a number of quality films. Since then majority of his films at best can be strictly be termed as 'average'.
He has two problems firstly him casting Saima in every film and his desire to make quick money. In the past he has been directing more one film at a given time. Sometimes he has directed up 3 to 4 films at one time. Just imagine the quality of these films.
His latest film Majajan without doubt is a great film and the critics and the public have loved it. Even people like Senetor Javed Iqbal, Mahreen Jabber and even Chief Minister Pervez Elahi have praised the film.
His next two films are 'Jhoomer' and 'Heer Ranjha'. Saima is without doubt in both films. Lets see where does Syed Noor goes from here.

Its is Sonia Jehan and she has been given a huge amount for the ad. The ad was shot recently when she came to Pakistan for the Taj Mahal Premiere.
Firstly we had Indian singers and choreographers in our films and then Indian actors and singers in our dramas. Abhi Indian models in our ads and Indian director Priyadarshan has seen hired by Pakistan Coke to shoot their ad.
What is happening to us and why do we feel so inferior to the Indians. No wonder our public is hooked on Indian films and Indian channels.

Standard the film Censor Board is run by a bunch of idiots. In the last five years under which rule have we had Indian singers singing in Pakistani movies.
The 1965 ruling is very clear that no Indian artist or technician can work in a Pakistani movie. This law still stands today.
It yet again shows the inconsistancy of Censor Board and makes them look like kids.

Its just another joke by the government with the film industry. How many more announcements is Shaukhat Aziz & Co going to make.
I have been reading and listening to the same statements for the last 10 years and nothing has changed.
Pathetic attitude on part of our government. Well one cannot blame the government when it has got more important things like spending million of rupees on the President House and spending more millions on importing bullet proof Mercedes for our beloved VIPs.

Tal05 of the 3 movies that you have mentioned I have only seen Sher-e-lahore. I can't remember watching Khatarnaak because its a old movie. I have not seen Dada Badmash also.
You can download one of the songs of Sher-e-Lahore from the net.
The only Punjabi movies of Saima which I have are Choorian and Mehndi Walay Haath on DVD. I also have got some of her Urdu movies on DVD and video also.

Brave Warrior the only reason why I posted the above news item because it had been reported in a number of newspapers.
If you ever read my posts I hardly have ever posted any rubbish.
Billa Lahorite the fact is no Pakistani leader in the last 57 years has ever cared for the poor or for our beloved Pakistan. This is the reason like it or not we are in the mess we are. All our leaders have had their own self-interests at heart.
On of the biggest examples of this is our film industry. Why is it in such a mess and has being down for the last 20 years. Why with a population of over 150 million people we are incapable of making quality international films. Who has killed performing arts in our country.
At the end of the day its the incompetent leaders we have had are to be blamed. Its because of them the way we have progressed socially, culturally, economically and politically.
Golimoro2 I read about Reema's new project last week that the script is being written by 4 different writers. Once the script is complete and the music also completed then the casting will start. So far no confirmation of any Indian star in her film.
There is other Lollywood news that Javed Fazil is in India and is in dissussions with Sanjay Kapoor for a role in "Aik Din Lot Kar Ayo Ga". The shooting is going to start soon and that also in India.
Recently Shamil Khan and Zara Shiekh whilse in India for Javed Raza's Kabhi Pyar Na Karna met with a motorbike accident whilse shooting. Shamil Khan suffered injuries.
Tarap is being released on 11th August. Mohabbatan Sachchian is going to be released on Eid-ul-fitr because of Meera's non availability.
Momi Rana has also decided to direct a film. Currently the script and the music is being completed. An formal announcement will be made next month.

I agree with Paki Lion and Charizmatic on choosing Daku Rani. Daku Rani had been inspired from Shekker Kapoor's "Bandit Queen" and production and technically the film is not that great. On the other hand the direction of Syed Noor and the performance of Saima are first class.
I would have rather have chosen Laaj or Kyoun Tum Say Itna Pyar Hai.
One film that I wished that was shown at this film was "Khuda Kay Liye". This was one film that would have totally surprised the Indians. Unfortunately the film is not complete but I still feel that a 10 to 20 minute showreel of the film can be taken and shown.
Majajan and salakhain are good choices as yoyo has said.

Saima has never been in a film called Lady Inspector. The film might have been annouced or started but never finished or released.
Except for about 8 to 10 movies on the sites you have mentioned I have no idea of any other sites except for sites like desitorrent or torrent spy where people upload movies.

The films shooting is nearly complete. The unit recently went to the Northern Areas to shoot and in the last few days another song was picturised on Shaan.
Interestingly the song which was a fast paced energatic one on which Shaan refused to dance. He insisted that the 'extra' boys that were with him in the song do all the dancing and he himself would just lip sing the song.
