DCA, directional coronary atherectomy is a minimally invasive procedure to remove blockage from the heart. The wire will be inserted into the artery and guided by a catheter through the arteries to the blocked spot. It is also used for diagnosis, which in turn allows doctors to see what is happening inside your coronary arteries as they are looking at them on an image screen.
