not only are our pop songs better, but our older generation singers are better too in my opinion. we have the late GREATS: melody queen noor jehan, and shahenshah-e-qawal ustaad nusrat fateh ali khan. then we have older singers who still live today in naseebo lal, azra jehan, mehdi hussan etc. as far as present-day singers we have greats/up-and-comers like humaira arshad, fariha pervaiz, fakhir, haroon, jawad ahmed, abrar ul haq and groups like junoon, fuzon and so on. we blow indians out of the watter!! they depend on us for their own music! lol. u have any idea how many nusrat fateh ali khan songs alone they have stolen?? its crazy!
so 2 answer your question...pakistan pop music, and pakistani music in general is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than india's!
I agree 100% that pakistani pop songs are better then indian songs . I listen too pakistani pop music. NFAKFAN is right we have great singers in pakistan like he mentioned. u are allways right NFAKFAN they copy Khan saabs Qawwallys and turn them to songs.
I think IndiPop is far behind Pakistani Pop but IndiPop is listened and viewed more due to some reasons
1) Almost in every country Indian Population is higher than Pakistanis (Indians are more touchy about there country as we are its true believe me i have personal experience of that)
2) Indians use vulgarity in there music vdos which makes them popular
3) They finance more in there fields
