matlab k fatwa ka matlab kya hai
kyun diya jata hai
kisse fatwa dene ka right hai
aur iss ki conditions kya hein

all thse mullah's today who give fatwa r al garbage...they have no right to give fatwa

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 92, Number 450, Narrated 'Amr bin Al-'As:

That he heard Allah's Apostle saying, "If a judge gives a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is correct (i.e. agrees with Allah and His Apostle's verdict) he will receive a double reward, and if he gives a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is wrong, (i.e. against that of Allah and His Apostle) even then he will get a reward ."

Ibn al-Qayyim said:

Abu ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Battah mentioned in his book al-Khala’ that Imaam Ahmad said: No man should set himself up to issue fatwas until he has attained five qualities:

1.     He should have a good intention, for if he does not have a good intention, he will not be blessed and there will be no blessings in his words.

2.     He should be knowledgeable, forbearing, dignified and calm.

3.     He should have a strong grasp of knowledge.

4.     He should have a strong personality and not be affected by people’s criticism.

5.     He should know what people are like.

okk,, yeh baat to hum bhi mante hein k sachi niyyat se aur koi galt kaam bhi ho jae to Allah miyan maaf kar dete hein

What does FATWA mean?

A legal opinion or ruling issued by an Islamic scholar.

here Scholar means Mufti..
