Bro its a small percentage of global population that consumes largest portions of OIL. Their desires to get richer and their means to get richer are driving Oil prices up. World's richest nations can sustain these high prices but poor ones will be crippled by it. Manufacturers and even agriculturists in poor countries will be driven outa business if this madness continues. Poor nations will become beggers and dependents on rich nations.

Do you really thinks governments have control on it! Its the game of oil cartels and corporations who have joined (installed) governments who will serve their interests.
