hi, Iam really interested in pakistani films and artists. Does anyone know if there are any online magazines on lollywood, especially on the older generation of actors.
What I really want to know is where these actors come from, family background, education etc. As you know there are numerous indian magazines such as stardust etc
It would be interesting to hear from other fans and get to know the actors better.

maybe u can answer my question. do ANY lollywood actresses get along? i keep hearing about these feuds among Reema and Meera and a bunch of others. is this true? and how about my favorite, saima? does she have a rival??!!

yaar, i HAVE seen zara, sara and co. and they can't even dream of being an equal to saima!
if we put looks aside (if thats possible), then hands down saima is the best when it comes to doing what they are all paid to do (in most cases): ACT.
and as far as looks go, maybe i like saima because she looks more pakistani than the others! its probably just me, but compared to saima, the other actresses look too modern. saima is old school, and she looks more traditional if you will!!
stop calling her moti tho. lol. she's just a little chubby thats all!! lol.
and we can debate all we want but i'm sure if a lollywood director had his back to the wall and he/she needed a hit movie in a bad way, they would call SAIMA first!! she's still the queen of lollywood, regardless!! lol.

lol lol lol I havent seen a single movie of neither Sara Nor Zara as well as Saima but i think that if i am going to watch a movie i will go there because of crowd and nice pretty herion not Saima Aunti (Refer to her Movie larki panjaban in which she is opposite the guy who looks like nephew of Saima)

on a serious note tho, u r 100% right about watching a movie in a pakistani theatre, only for the crowd!! i saw my very first punjabi movie this past march. the name was JATT DA WAIR, a big time flop starring who else, but shaan and saima. 2-3 songs were very nice and the crowd was AMAZING!!! people from lahore r good to watch movies with. lol.
as far as all these actresses combining to add up to saima's wasteline, lets be serious people! again, she is NOT that big. YES, she IS more "healthy" than the others, but thats not a bad thing. she may be older than them, but that is not bad either. she STILL LOOKS GOOD!! and don't deny it either. she has proven that she can still compete against and OUT-ACT EVERY lollywood actress!!!
and to sum up my view: the last pakistani movie to make it to international heights, and shatter almost every lollywood record was CHOORIYAN....a movie headlined by who else.....SAIMA!!!! lol.
this is why i need info on them, why do we all assume that they all come from shahi mohalla.. do the male actors and singers also come from there? In their interviews the males are generally from wealthy backgrounds and are doctors or engineers.
Does that mean if a girl from a good, normal family becomes an actress, singer or model she will be labelled from (????..
A lollywood film magazine should give us facts so we can base our expectations and presumptions on these.
In India the actresses tend to come from respectable families, or their parents are from the industry etc

this proves that we do not then assume amisha or shilpa are loose, we just fell that they had a desire to enter films and did.
all i know is this: i too have heard that it is a fact that 95% of the females which enter the entertainment industry in pakistan r from the "Red light" areas of the country. sad but true, from what i've been told.
as 4 the actors, shaan grew up DIRECTLY in front of the house that my grandmother lives in today! they've reloacted now, but remain in touch mith my nani constantly. he's an educated man, thats 4 sure.
and isn't mommer the son of a cricket player?? thats abt all i know.
