Popular Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor

would get married to Delhi-based businessman Sanjay Kapoor in

October, actor-father Randhir Kapoor said on Thursday.

Talking to reporters, Randhir said they were planning to arrange

the marriage around Dussehra. There would be no engagement.

Stating that the wedding ceremony would be arranged in

traditional manner, Randhir said: "The wedding is an arranged

one. Both Karisma and Sanjay have known each other but the

alliance has been fixed with the help of common friends."

Expressing his happiness over Karisma's marriage, Randhir said:

"As a father, I am very excited. Karisma had a successful career

and now I wish her all the success in her marriage."

Karisma had been earlier engaged to actor Abhishek Bachchan, son

of Amitabh Bachchan. But the engagement was later called off with

mutual consent.
