if anybody know about more about city correct this.
I have seen a major city of india:-
(i)Mumbai (43 DTS or Dolby Digital cinimas)
(ii)Delhi(15 DTS cinimas)
Mumbai city volume is same as Karachi...and Delhi same as Lahore.
A movie collects:-
MUMBAI:-50 Lakh to 1crore 50 lakh(Depend on movie )
DEHLI:- Atleast near by 50 lakh to 1 crore
But here pakistan currently good movies like 'YEH DIL AAP KA HAWA".."Commando".."Larkipunjaban"...
Maximum business from whole pakistan is 1crore 30lakh or 35 lakh..
It mean mojority of public is not going to cinima due to movie quality...standard..not good cinima..and not near to your house.
Dont' think I am comparing to lollywood movies to bollywood movies,I am saying major cities of a big difference.
We should improve Cinimas more and more in specially big
cities,
-Marketing should be outstanding..
Cinima condition should be outstanding...
Cinima should be established in your district where u reach easily(That's very lacking here..for goint good cinima one hour from my house,that's boring.
We can boost business of that techique.
Pakistani market is not small...as people say..actually film industry thinking and planning is dull.
it has proved on 'YEH DIL AAP KA HAWA'.
in my opinion, b4 anything, our people need 2 decide what we want 2 see. we always seem 2 find SOMETHING wrong with our movies.
then the onus is on the producers/directors 2 make quality movies (content and quality-wise).
right now everyone's pointing the finger at everyone and nobody's taking responsibility. someone needs 2 step up: the pakistani movie-viewing public, or the lollywood big wigs.....
well ydakh i jus want to correct u dude there are 6 to 7 dts theaters in karachi capri,prince,nishat,star,lyric,and one cineplex in clifton but hope that it will increase lets see.
