im not afraid of quality sh*t product, i just dnt want our audience to see anti- pak, anti islam films which teach people about hindus and always have the heros as hindus and villains as muslims and i dnt want them to fool our audience by showing countrys like uk and usa and saying its india while they show afganistan and iraq as pakistan.

Shaby is right; why must we show Indoostani Films?
I mean look people; when we show there films, it's basically telling our people we suck. Even though the people know it already, the Government shouldn't support it and admit to it. That brings down moral and at a times like this who would want too? A booming economy, people are getting jobs, literacy among women is increasing and best of all Jinnah The Movie is releasing on DVD in the UK.
What about our country? We're basically selling ourselves out! Why must we? They laugh at us thinking we worship them. Is that the kind of image you want? What about our soverignty? What good will this do? It will basically tell people in Pakistan oh who cares we're all the same. No we're not the same; I'm a Pakistani and a guy living in Dehli is an Indian. We're not the same; again we're selling ourselves out.
Worse though what about the children that watch that crap; they will grow up thinking Pakistan can't do anything. What will that do to there development as they grow? These aren't stupid question's by any strech; every country talks about the things I have just mentioned. We have banned there TV Channels and I say we should ban there films. There isn't a point; people will say there will be compeition? Huh yeah right; they'll be so brainwashed into watching that garbage, they won't even bother with the Pakistani films.
That's why I get so mad when people say "so what?". There are a lot of reason's why there films shouldn't be shown here and I've only introduced a few main concerns. People wake up! You talk about Cinema Owners loosing money; that's a filthy excuse just to get them to show there films and it's a flat out lie! They've been loosing money because of cable nothing else; why bother going to the cinema when you have cable.
People please wake up and look at the bigger picture. This isn't doing us or our younger/upcoming generation any good.

Well I said i sort of agree. Well If people are making money out of renting out every indian movie every made from Video shops , so then why not let the cinema owners make some legal money and after all they have spent so much on making those cinemas in the first place. So BAN the VIdeo thing else lollywood will die any way some day. Cinemas changing in to shopping centers , Plazas and theaters is too common even to say that ow.
Any ways for the Economy hmm all the people i know in Pakistan have been struggling as ever as they were before. If our so called economy and industrial growth is so damn good then why isnt any thing passed to the common man?? or all the growth is just for the few?

] ok.. let me tell ya wat we think of u.. .. we had no problems when indian flims were allowed in pak.. but when u banned them.. there is a common belief in us that u ppl r afarid of bolly thats why u dont unblock it.. the same goes fo tv. so its better to open ur market for bolly and indian channels.. so that piracy can be curbed and also lolly when faced with compition will grow up..
