Two people were killed and around 15 others injured in a bomb explosion at a Bollywood concert in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The bomb exploded in the stands of the open venue towards the end of the concert when Shahrukh Khan was performing on stage. Bollywood celebrities Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra, Zayed Khan and Celina Jaitley were performing at the concert which was part of the Temptation 2004 global series of concerts. None of the celebrities were injured. They were immediately rushed to the airport and flown back to India after the incident. This concert had earlier created a controversy as it was scheduled on the death anniversary of a Buddhist monk. The controversy died only when a public apology was issued for the date.
