Pakistan Navy is naval force of Pakistan and it is responsible to guard against the 1046 kilometers long coastline of the country. It also defends important military bases and civilian harbors. Pakistan navy is added with 31,000 active personnel and it has 71 ships and 40 aircrafts, which are used for the war and guard the coastline. This force is also engage with the execution of diplomatic activities, exercises of the military importance and also focus on the limited overseas operations. Pakistan Navy recruits young men in its force as sailor and also gives commission to the cadet every year. Pakistan Navy is added with Maritime Security Agency, Pakistan Coast Guard and Pakistan Marines and it plays important role in the economic and defense situation of the country. It has the mission to defend the maritime interests of Pakistan, fight against aggression at and from the sea, gives the relief from disaster and takes part in the development work for coastal communities and contributes in the international efforts to maintain the good order at sea. Pakistan Navy has the surface warriors, submarine force, air arm and marine & SSGN, which are the regular parts of Pakistan Navy.
