Settled on the River Coln, Fairford was a significant instructing town before, arranged on the old London to Gloucester Route. Probably the best fascination of the town is the ward church, a "wood church" showing a full arrangement of 28 medieval recolored glass windows delineating the account of the book of scriptures.
For those needing a walk around the outside air, the River Coln offers excellent strolls in the peaceful and dazzling open country.
