sab say pehlay mein mafi chati hon, kay mein islam ki bat kar rahi hoon aur sat marilyn ki tasweer hai. iam very sorry for that. lekin kia karoon mei is subject say door nahi reh saki.
muslims kay pas eik aisi genuine tool hai jis say pata chalay kay us ki zindagi mein kia honay wala hai. kia sahi hai aur kiya galat, jissay woh jan kay sahi faisla karay. is future telling ko istakhara kehtay hain.

istakhara kia hota hai?
if you have a disscision in life that u r finding hard choose from, so u turn to allah for help in telling you what is the right or wrong, then istakhara is your answer. istakhara eik nimaz hai, aik dua hai, aik wasila hai jo kay allah nay faraham kia hai insan ko kay ussay sahi aur galat faisla kar sakay jo allah ki taraf say hai. issay jan kar woh insan apni zindagi sudhar lay aur zindagi mein kush rahe.

how is it preformed?
well mostly it is read after the eisha prayer @ night before going to bed.
1) u make a niyat in your heart of what it is that you are having trouble to decide.
2) after reading eisha, u pray 2 nafal for istakhara.
3) once finished you read the istakhara dua.
4) if you want you can make a personal wish of what it is you want by raising your hands infront of the allmighty.

how do u know the answer to your istakhara?
mostly it is belived that you get the answer of your question through a very blessed dream. this is not entirely true. it is generally hints from around the environment and people around us that can lead to finding an answer. also either one of the solutions starts taking place more strongly in your heart. most importantly naurally things start shaping up so that they turn for the better of the future.

istakhara is not only for the major decisions, but some small things can b asked too.
this may sound funny, but my friends dad couldnt decide whether to buy a lexus or a land cruiser. he was a deeply religeous man, so he decided to do an istakhara. next morning he is just about to make an inplusive decision about the lexus since he didnt have a dream. as soon as he steps out the door, his friend is walkning up the drive. they start chatting and the topic comes to cars. my friends dad tell his friend about his confusion, his friend immidiatly replies not to buy the lexus as he recently brought a lexus and it had a million and one things that were wrong.
some may call this a coincidence but the truth is that this works.
on a serious note i read somewhere the fazilat of istakahara, that a woman had her daughter engaged to a guy who everyone thought was really good. all the time till the wedding everything was fine and happy. as the wedding grew close the mother decided to do an istakhara and after a few days she got a call from a distant relative who wasnt in contact for yrs, then he got talking and he started talking about the wedding, he asked the mane and all. turns out he was already married and was secretly and was marrying the ladys daughter for money and his parents pushing him. the night bfr the call the woman had a really bad dream, but was confused.
