I gave my 10 dresses in an Army camp
aur yeh inspiration mujhay Sabz pari say milli
jis nay kal mujhay bataya kay oos nay apni shadi main milnay walay sab bister jo abhi packed thay ,blankets,apnay aur apnay husband kay sweeteres sab aik relief camp main day diye.mashallah
Allah hum sab ko bhi toufiq ata fermaye Ameen

Pakistani troops are being airlifted to the affected areas to begin the emergency relief effort. A number of foreign countries are also sending search and rescue teams.

In Pakistan, the earthquake was felt as far south as Lahore, where this multi-storey building collapsed. Scared residents fled into the streets as the tremors began.

Some of the roads out of Rawalpindi, near Islamabad, are blocked. Among the many dead there was this man being covered by a sheet, and a child who died after a school collapsed.

Many of the injured and homeless have spent their first night in the open. Much of northern Pakistan experienced heavy rains.

As part of the Indian relief effort, the army has begun airlifting the injured from an airbase in Uri to Srinagar in Indian-administered Kashmir.
