Four women, Louise, Lise, Carole and Lily are seated at a table.

They are chatting about their holidays.

They went to California, Texas, Florida and Arizona riding a lion, tiger, zebra and a pony.

1 The woman riding the zebra did not smoke.
2 Carole declared that she loved Miami.
3 The woman riding the tiger had a cigarette with Lily.
4 Louise said :" Buy your pony a new saddle, Carole. I saw some   during our trip to California?"
5- The woman riding the tiger mentioned that she had seen the Alamo in Texas.
6- Lise was a chain-smoker.

Question : What are the destination and method of transportation for each woman ?

Q. A room is lit only by an LED digital 12-hour clock. At what time is the room the brightest? The darkest?

Assume no leading '0' in times where the hour is a single digit. In other words, the time is displayed as "6:32", not "06:32".

Horserace
The old king is dying, and wants to leave his kingdom to the wiser of his two sons. He tells them that he will hold a horserace, and the son whose horse is the last to reach the town square and come back will inherit the realm. Immediately the younger son jumps on a horse and makes for the church at top speed. The king now knows that this is the wiser son, and leaves him the kingdom. Why?

You have a correctly set standard wall clock (not digital), which has marks indicating the hours, but no numbers. You can only see the clock through a mirror. To complicate things, you happen to know that it was installed upside-down.

When you look in the mirror, you see that the time appears to be 7:55 (although the hour hand is just a tad off from where it's supposed to be). What is the real time?

Q # 7.Engineers are working on a new six-cylinder diesel engine. It will have a 1.2 litre capacity. The average speed of use is 2,000 revolutions per minute. However the engine can only work at temperatures of up to 500 degrees celsius.

How many spark plugs would an experienced engineer recommend to be put in the engine?
