Sitting alone in the dark,
My mind starts to wander,
To a place of happiness and joy,
When warmth and love are all around,
And life feels so content,
But the voices deep inside convince me,
That theres no such place,
My mind refocuses and brings me back,
To a life of loneliness and solitude,
Only i can change that,
Are the words that people say,
But how did life get this bad,
It’s always been this way,
So until i find true happiness,
When warmth and love are found,
I’ll always be alone in the dark,
