What happened to our love?
It used to be so bright
Loving, laughing, caring
Then soon caught the night
You were my one and only love
Cared for you too much
Then something happened
And slept with that man
You deceived me
I never felt so desperate
But I try to forgive you now

I see the stars sparkling so bright,
Within the moon kissed sky.
I hear the lark so sweetly sing,
Amidst the morning dawn.
I smell the flower full in bloom,
And see their royal pomp.
And yet some place so deep within,
I'm shrouded and I'm closed.
The brilliance there I can't see,
In mists of misery.
Enshrined inside, unable thus,
To touch the warmth without.
I gaze upon this passion spent,
And yet . . . Inside I die.

I waited for your love in hope,
That ours would come again,
And make me feel the things I felt,
When we were one, back then.
But time and distance have erased,
The things I wished anew,
And now I find myself alone,
Though I am here with you.
What good is love, that does not touch,
What good is love, that gives you pain.
What good is love, that makes you run,
And makes you lost out in the rain.
I traveled to another world,
Out far beyond the one we knew,
I thought that I could live again,
And now I find I'm back with you.
But what of hearts that beat as one,
And what of passion and embrace,
Is it too much to ask of you,
To make these tears of mine erase.
What good is love, that does not touch,
What good is love, that gives you pain.
What good is love, that makes you run,
And makes you lost out in the rain.
Too painful this - to journey back,
To times of love and laughter free,
The times we lay together with
A sense of you , a sense of me.
So now, I journey on alone,
Forever wandering, in my thoughts,
And I shall ask you once again,

Time and time I look at you
Seeing more and more the truth
Isn’t life so sad it seems
You’ve lost your hopes, you’ve lost your dreams
Nothing more would I like to see
Than a happy you and a happy me
Now I see you alienate friends you now grow to hate
Excuse me if I hesitate, but aren’t friends what make life great?
Nothing’s sacred nothings sure
But if things don’t change we may never find a cure
You are my hope, my passion for sure
Please tell me why this love isn’t pure
I need you more than life itself,
but taking all this is detrimental to my health.
Why has it come to this;
Where is all your tenderness.
Maybe if you stop and appreciate
Everything you’ve grown to hate
We can patch this up before it’s too late.
