hm interesting. So noone wears shalwar kameez to college/uni? I wear it all da time. To uni I wear jeans cos its practical cos in scotland da weather is cold and windy and raining all the time. Or snowing. Now Im wearing shalwar kameez cos its comfortable in pregnancy.and i cant get my jeans to shut over my tummy.

hm my in laws r in pak and dey wud say I shud wear desi style. Im sure most in laws dont allow jeans etc. I tink as long as ur decently covered.it shudnt matter man.

There's so many different styles in desi fashion & so much choice, the colours are amazing aswell as the materials used to make them.
Plus it's a major part of our culture, I like wearing something that represents a major part of it, seeing as it is one of the things that show's Asian women in a beautiful way.
