Let us celebrate and enjoy...

HOLI....

( the Festival of colours ) ,

SPLASHING... .

COLOURS OF OUR HEARTS.

1) Come, play with me, this colourful Holi,
And show me the colour of your heart,
Splash me, splash me, splash me,
Splash me with colour of your heart.

2)If your heart is BLUE , then splash me with Blue,
With all pleasant things you do,
For blue is the sky, and a twinkle in your eye,
Splash me with colour of your heart.

3)If your heart is RED, then splash me with red,
And don't ever feel so sad,
For Red will show me the passion of your heart,
Splash me with colour of your heart.

4)If your heart is GREEN, then splash me with Green,
And show me just what you mean,
For Green is peace & Harmony of Hearts,
Splash me with colour of your heart.

5)If your heart is BROWN, then splash me with brown,
And colour all cities and town,
For Brown is low-down you will never have in heart,
Splash me with colour of your heart.

6)If your heart is white, then colour me with white,
And everything will look so bright,
'Cause white will show me the purity of heart,
Splash me with colour of your Heart.

7)If your heart is black, then splash me with black,
And tell me you'll never look back,
For Black is the darkness, that is never in your heart,
splash me with colour of your heart.

8)If your heart is PINK, then colour me with Pink,
And give me your naughty-naughty wink,
For Pink is the Rose, that has blossomed in your heart,
Splash me with colour of your Heart.

SPLASH ME, SPLASH ME, SPLASH ME,
SPLASH ME WITH COLOUR OF YOUR HEART.

HAPPY HOLI

Holi tu indians ka tradition hai jawad kyun holi mana raha hai?

What is holi?
Now, I know its a hindu tradition, I wanna know the significance of it.

Why should I celebrate holi?

I don't ask no hindu or christian to celebrate my holidays because it may offend them. Muslims celebration of pagan holidays offends me.

SD..ur question abt Holi..

Holi, also called the Festival of Colours, is a popular Hindu spring festival observed in India, Suriname, Guyana, Trinidad, the UK, Fiji and Nepal. In West Bengal of India and Bangladesh, it is known as Dolyatra (Doljatra) or Boshonto Utsav ("spring festival").

The main day, Holi, also known as Dhulheti, Dhulandi or Dhulendi, is celebrated by people throwing coloured powder and coloured water at each other. Bonfires are lit the day before, also known as Holika Dahan (death of Holika) or Chhoti Holi (little Holi). The bonfires are lit in memory of the miraculous escape that young Prahlad had when Demoness Holika, sister of Hiranyakashipu, carried him into the fire. Holika was burnt but Prahlad, a staunch devotee of Lord Vishnu, escaped without any injuries due to his unshakable devotion. Holika Dahan is referred to as Kama Dahanam in Andhra Pradesh.

Holi is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of Phalugna or Falguna (Phalgun Purnima), which usually falls in the later part of February or March. In 2009, Holi (Dhulandi) is on 11th March and Holika Dahan is on 10th March.

Rangapanchami occurs a few days later on a Panchami (fifth day of the full moon), marking the end of festivities involving colours.

Abt ur second question i would rather ask 'Can Muslims Celebrate holi'??

Muslims are not permitted to celebrate pagan holidays. Monothiestic belief rejects all gods other than Allah and their rituals. Muslims submit to One God, Allah, who is the Creator, Owner, Sustainer, and Lord of all. That is the most basic element of Islam. Celebrating rituals of a god or its diciple that is other than Allah is a contradiction to this pillar of faith.
