On Eid films Company,Wanted,Dil Bole Hadippa,Nach Kay Yaar Manana,Red Light Hotel were released.Though this time the quantity and quality of films was a bit lower than previous Eid-ul-Fitr but the business of a Pakistani film was the highest than any of the films.
And that film is Nach Kay Yaar Manana.Per tv channels reports have shown that people have gone simply crazy abut the film....they showed the clippings of the cinema house and ppl were so eager to see the film tht families sat on the floor of cinemas waiting to get the tickets.One channel stated tht'Nach Kay Yaar Manana ne Mela Loot Liya'!
The film being a typical punjabi film wid supposedly a strong script and storyline has managed to gain the highest business and popularity.The films print is of Superb quality and yeah its DTS...though typical punjabi but the film is a hit wid masses!And yeah the film is free frm vulgurlariy though its based on marasi'stuff!
The other films Compnay,Red Light Hotel and Dil Bole...have done merely below-avergae business and near to flop.Thats what the TV Channels have reported.Its good tht public has rejected cheap films like Red Light Hotel.
After Nach Kay...the second-highest business doing film was Wanted...it was expected...the film being a pure masala action film did well at the Abbot Road cinemas and even multiplexes!Also to add it has been heard tht Nach Kay is also doing quite decent business at the stylish Cinestar,Township cinema!
Well this all abut the Eid Days business,real situation will come out once Eid Holidays are over and than what shift the business of the films take place!
But one thing is for sure...those who said Indian Films are Gonna RULE...have gone wrong this time!
