Lollywood's director Saeed Rana's much-awaited flick Bandish will be released on December 19. In this film, all the super stars are performing while Saeed Rana is hopeful that his film will be a blockbuster and boost up the film image.

In this film Saeed Rana has introduced a new face Amir Sheikh, who is talented and performed well in the film. Saeed Rana has predicted that Amir Sheikh will be the hero of the film industry in future.

Amir Sheikh said that he has been in the showbiz for the past two years and people of this trade have encouraged me very much. He said that it was his good luck that Saeed Rana has given me the chance to perform with the super stars such as Mustafa Qureshi, Shan, Saima, Resham, Humayun Qureshi, Shafqat Cheema, Abid Ali, Naghma Begum and Mohsan Hassan Khan.

About his role in the film Amir said that in Bandish he is playing the role of Mustafa Qureshi's son, who is a retired Army Col. He said that Resham is playing the role of his sister whose name in the film is Pakeeza, Naghma Begum is his mother in film while Mohasan Hassan Khan, Sardar Kamal and Shafqat Cheema are his brothers in the film. Abid Ali is playing the role of his uncle who is a Speaker of the National Assembly.

Amir said that his role in this film is very important and runs throughout the whole film. This is a difficult role and have different shades which affects the whole story and the story of the film is based on a Quranic verse that Ghusa (anger) is haram (forbidden) in Islam. In this film, it is conveyed that a decision which a man takes in anger affects his whole life and suffers the whole family. Amir praised Resham's performance and said that he enjoyed performing with her. The story of this film has been penned by Saeed Rana, while Wajid Ali Naushad has composed melodious songs. He hopes that Bandish will definitely give him the breakthrough in the Lollywood.

Beside Bandish, Amir is also performing in Saeed Rana's upcoming films Yeh Kaisi Dunya, Jan Qurban and General Khan. He is playing the role of hero in these films and all of them are based on patriotism. Amir expressed his desire to make name like Nadeem, Mohammad Ali and Waheed Murad.
