Salman shines in 'Garv'

Salman Khan is maintaining a low profile of late, but the actor, who bounced back with TERE NAAM last year, is all geared up for an eventful year ahead.

To start with, the actor will have two releases in the coming months - Cinevistaas' GARV [directed by actor turned director Puneet Issar] and MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI [directed by David Dhawan], in which he teams with Akshay Kumar for the first time.

“It's Salman's best performance to date,” states Puneet Issar. Those who have viewed the rushes of the film endorse Puneet's statement completely. Incidentally, GARV is supposed to be the most expensive Salman starrer to date. Reportedly, Cinevistaas have spent a fortune in the making of the film.

The second Salman film to release this year is Sajid Nadiadwala's MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI, directed by David Dhawan. After JUDWAA [David Dhawan] and HAR DIL JO PYAAR KAREGA [Raj Kanwar], both produced by Sajid, the Salman camp insists that the actor is in great form in this flick as well.

Salman has much more to look forward to in 2004…

Besides these two films, the actor teams up with two of his favourites yet again in their forthcoming films - Sooraj R. Barjatya and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

After starting their careers with Salman [Sooraj's debut-making film was MAINE PYAR KIYA, while Bhansali made his debut with KHAMOSHI - THE MUSICAL], the directors opted for other actors in their subsequent films. But both Sooraj and Bhansali have teamed up with Salman yet again.

While Sooraj's project will be a family drama [the Rajshris aren't too willing to reveal the genre of the film at this stage], Bhansali's film with Salman - BAJIRAO MASTANI - will roll soon after the director completes work on BLACK [Amitabh Bachchan].
