A few years ago, Rajkumar Santoshi had teamed the two mighty Khans -- Aamir and Shah Rukh -- in his new project. However, the project did not move beyond the announcement stages. Reportedly, getting the two Khans agree on the script proved to be a daunting task for the maker of GHAYAL and GHATAK. He decided to drop the project then...
But the project is being revived, if trade sources are to be believed. There's talk that the project will roll next year [2005], with Santoshi at the helm of affairs of course. The script is being re-worked upon [new script?], we are told. The film will star an all-Indian cast, while a few technicians will be flown from Hollywood to make it a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Though the Khans haven't been given the script narration yet [the script is not yet complete!], it's heard that the film will have music by the numero uno music composer. Will Mr. Santoshi shed light on the development?
