Yusuf Khan is all set to launch his next film produced by Manik Bedi.Tentatively titled "Golmaal" The Fun Never Ends the film stars Sunil Shetty. Pakistani actor-comedian Omar Sharief and sultry Pakistani model Iman Ali make their Hindi film debuts in leading roles. Another hero and two more heroines are yet to be finalised.
The film is about three guys, a hitman (Sunil Shetty), a rich hotelier’s son-in-law (Omar Sharief) and an aspiring singer, who turn up at a hotel run by Shakti Kapoor in Cape Town all on separate missions. Due to a mix-up in information by somebody results a comedy of errors situation with the South African police, underworld and criminals result with all of them getting involved.
“The idea of the film was mine,” says Khan but adds the film has been co-scripted by him and Sharief. “Apart from being a fantastic actor Omar is so good with his one-liners.
The script had the other artistes in splits when I was narrating it to them.” He says, “Though it’s a comedy it will have lots of action also since comedy has its limitations. There’s action with the South African mafia getting involved. Golmaal has four mind-blowing action sequences.”
The action director is Allan Amin (Qayamat, Main Hoon Naa) while the stunt doubles will be from Bangkok and stunts coordinated by Ketcha from Singapore.
He intends to have Pakistani singers (for Sharief and Iman) as music will be by Sukhvinder Singh. Khan has recorded a title track in English. Budgeted at Rs 10-12 crore the two hour-10 minute film will be shot entirely in Cape Town.
