Karan-Soham thriller’s final cast

Here's the final take on Karan Johar's much talked about thriller film to be directed by his erstwhile assistant Soham Shah. There had been several alterations in the cast right from the inception of the film and now the final cast has been declared.

The film does not star Priyanka Chopra as we had talked about the possibility a couple of days back. Also the film does not star Saif Ali Khan. Saif was roped in when Shahid Kapoor walked out of the film citing date problems. However both Saif and Priyanka will no more star in the film as a result of their respective date problems.

So who will take their place? Well Vivek Oberoi has been roped in place of Saif and Esha Deol will play the role that Priyanka was supposed to play. The remaining original cast of Ajay Devgan, John Abraham and Lara Dutta remains unchanged.

The film may be genuinely different in the sense that this will be the transition of the Johar's production house - Dharma Productions from their regular feel-good factor formula to attempting a full-fledged thriller. Also this will be for the first time that Shahrukh Khan will produce a film that will not star himself. Shahrukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment is co-producing the film with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
