Improved specifications and battery life are explained directly by Head of Microsoft Surface, Panos Panay. He claims, Surface Book 2 is able to compete with its main rival, Apple MacBook, especially in the case of batteries.
As reported by from The Verge, Thursday (19/10/2017), battery life Surface Book 2 claimed to reach 17 hours in a single charge. Meanwhile, the MacBook Pro battery life is claimed adrift far enough, ie 10 hours.
If in real world usage, the battery life really reaches 17 hours, the user will greatly benefit because it will be able to use Surface 2 without having to carry charger or bother looking for power source. Especially with the average work that only spends 9 hours to 10 hours.

This means that when users actually use Surface Book 2 to work, it could be effective battery life under 17 hours. Certainly not bad. There may be a few hours difference from that Microsoft claim.

Each Surface Book 2 is equally claimed to be able to live for 17 hours, equipped with Bluetooth 4.1, two USB-A ports, one USB-C port, Surface Connect, SD memory slot, audio jack, Dolby Atmos feature, and Windows Hello support .
