First Day First Show

As the first show of Mujhse Shaadi Karogi concludes at 6 pm outside the Metro Cinema in Mumbai, an enthralled horde of audience rush out of the hall and are just too excited to express their reactions before our camera. Of course, the first show was houseful and so was the second one with ticket-blackers moving around in full swing (a rare scene in the present scenario). Heavy rains couldn't stop movie buffs from staying away from the theatre. Infact most shows for the weekend are sold out thanks to the strong publicity and hype created by Nadiadwala.

Barring a few 'utter sh*t' remarks from those who were searching for some sense and logic in this David Dhawan comedy, the overall response was quite positive. The Salman-Akshay chemistry is truly appreciated by the audience and is the major highlight of the film. 'Paisa vasool, funny time pass' are the instant one-liner public response.

David Dhawan's comic style seems to have changed quite a bit from his last lot of films and the audiences seems to have liked the change tremendously. Adds a female, “The film doesn't have the usual David Dhawan vulgarity and is a complete family film”. Regarding Priyanka, she comments, “She is damn gorgeous but can't act for nuts”. But then who's complaining!
