Never had any sound problems with steam games. It may sound too obvious, but when you're experiencing audio issues you should always check all your cable connections, especially with a desktop system. If they sound okay, then the problem is probably in your speaker connections. If the headphones sound just as bad as the speakers, then the problem is internal. I believe it is important to point out that I've never used Steam on Linux, and there might be other factors that need to be taken into consideration. Has anyone
used cd keys for video games? I surely did, and I congratulated myself afterward. Everything worked very well and I enjoyed the game.
