Filmazia and Time have both released this film on DVD. They have also released another Punjabi film called Shahjee. Any how both films are not my cup of Tea.
Both films will probably also be shown on Filmazia during Eid.

Yoyo totally agree with you. I could not have said it better myself. The fact is we worship Indian culture. We have a huge inferior complex when it comes to anything Indian and in the process we are fast loosing our own identity. Living in the UK things are different but when you go back home and you see what's happening then one is disgusted.
They used to be a time where Pakistani films were made from novels. Also films on Islamic heroes have also been made in the past. One of the finest Pakistani films to come out in 70s was Haider Ali.
Agree with you that the success of KKL was that it was something we could all relate to. It just not films even look at our television where we are just copying everything from Star Plus dramas.
Its not just our film makers have forgotten who they are but I think most Pakistanis have forgotten who they are.
So then what is your opinion of releasing Indian films on the big screen in Pakistan.

Well Sajjad Gul has always been a very shrewd businessmen and has proved it yet again. Evernew Studios in Lahore has been rotting for years and has never been updated. The film industry has virtually bagged him for modernising the studios but nothing has happened.
Its strange that all the fame and money Sajjad Gul has got is from the Pakistani film industry and today he and his brother have abandoned it in its hour of need.

I totally agree with yoyo. The Cinema Tax is not going to benefit that much as hardly currently any films are made. Its only going to benefit the distributors and Cinema owners of Indian Films. Its again vested interests Waqar.
The only thing this government and previous ones have done is to destroy the film industry. These people have no idea what Cinema is and its importance.
The same goes with numerous other problems our country is facing.
Most blame the system we live in but do have a system in place.

This is really bad news. I just can't believe this. Why DM Digital. Have Ary, Prime TV or Geo have all vanished. Another dead flop. Two quality films down the drain. On the other hand third rate Indian Punjabi films are doing record business in the UK.
It was a golden chance for Zille Shah and Majajan to do well at the box office as no Bollywood film has been released here in UK for months.

The film was shown on Thursday last week on DM Digital. The print was of poor quality. It completely put me off watching the film. Its a shame that such a quality film had to be shown on a third class channel.

Will say it again that Syed Noor wasting his time and is just fooling the film industry. Well as they love is blind. They was a time I used to wait for every Syed Noor film but Know never interested.
Its a shame. All that creativity is getting wasted. Just can't understand why Syed Noor has got himself in to this mess.

Well Deely watch Sunrise TV who have been regularly been showing One Pakistani film daily for the last few months. Most of them are from 1970s or 1980s. A good mixture of Urdu and Punjabi. The prints on the whole are good and so are the films.

Sunrise is currently showing one Pakistani film every day. Majority of the Pakistani channels are pathetic. The few good ones are not interested in the Pakistani film industry which is a shame and love to promote Bollywood instead. What can be done.

Also try the Book Centre in Bradford on White Abbey Road, or AMC Music Centre also on the same Road. Another option is Green Street in Illford. Just tell me where you live first.

The latest on the film is that Shaan is currently struggling to get anyone to write the script for his film but fortunately someone from America has saved the today.
Recently Shaan misbeahaved with certain members of the press on a film set. The press decided to completely ban Shaan because of his behaviour. Well its not the first time Shaan has done this. He is never going to learn and its a sorry situation.
After this scenerio Shaan asked Adeel Hashmi and Aqeel Rubi to complete the script for his upcoming film but both refused. The film press were having a field day. Shaan was bought back to earth.
The latest is that a scriptwriter who has come to Pakistan by the name of Mashal Peerzadha from America is writing the script for Shaan's film. The shooting will start next month.

I have seen majority of the film except for the climax. Have to say technically and production wise its a stylish film. Well done Shahzhad Rafique. The locations are. No short cuts have been taken or cheap sets used. A lot of effort gone in to make the film.. This is what I like about Shahzed Rafique as he is a very hard working director. This shows in every frame of the film. The fight scenes have been executed well.
The music is out of this world and songs have been well picturised. The only weak point of the film is its script except for that a well made film.

I have said this before and will say it again Syed Noor is just wasting his time. In this day and age 17 songs is just crazy. When is Syed Noor going to come out with something better and original. What was his hit Urdu film?

I agree with you also Wajahat. Its so frustrating that a good quality Pakistani film has been released here and it totally goes unnoticed because of no publicity. Why release the film in the first place ?

Sorry to report this but the film has not even made it to the 2nd week. A total Disaster. It has been taken of all the Cinemas. To me its not a surprise. I wish the film was never released here. On the other hand an Indian Punjabi film is going great guns and its going to enter its 4th week and has done business over £100,000.

Very dissapointed with the pathetic release of Zill-e- Shah. The film is not even getting shown in Manchester then about the so called premiere. All in all very frustrating.
